Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 7, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how ADLR Inc. ("ADLR", "we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use adlr.app and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
Account information. When you sign up we collect your name, email address, a password (stored as a salted hash), and workspace details you provide (company name, domain, industry).
Workspace content. The Service is a productivity platform, so it stores content you and your team create or connect — including emails, messages, documents, projects, tasks, contacts, and files. We treat this as confidential to your workspace.
Usage data. We collect technical logs (IP address, browser, device type, pages visited, feature interactions) to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
Payment data. If you subscribe, billing is processed by Stripe. We store your subscription status, plan, and the last four digits of your card. Full card numbers are handled by Stripe and never touch our servers.
2. How we use information
- To provide, maintain, and secure the Service
- To authenticate you and prevent abuse
- To send transactional emails (invites, password resets, billing, security alerts)
- To improve features and investigate bugs
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your workspace content to train shared AI models.
3. AI processing
Features like draft generation, summarization, and agents send relevant workspace content to third-party LLM providers (Anthropic and/or OpenAI) solely to return a result to you. These providers are contractually prohibited from using the content to train their models. You can disable AI features per workspace in Settings.
4. Service providers
We share limited data with vetted providers only as needed to run the Service:
- Amazon Web Services — hosting, storage, CloudFront edge delivery of the frontend, email (SES), and our own LiveKit server for chat calls and meetings. US regions only; an EU region is not available yet.
- Stripe — payments and subscription billing. Card numbers never touch our servers.
- Resend — email delivery: sign-in codes, notifications, and mail workspaces send from their own domains.
- Anthropic — Claude LLM inference for AI features. Zero-retention agreement.
- OpenAI — fallback LLM inference for AI features (zero-retention agreement), and speech to text for Adi’s voice input.
- Deepgram — speech: Adi’s spoken replies (text to speech) and live meeting captions (speech to text).
- Twilio — phone calls placed from ADLR: call audio and the numbers dialled.
- Telnyx — phone calls placed from ADLR, and internal call testing: call audio and the numbers dialled.
5. Data retention
We retain workspace content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, workspace content is removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. billing records).
6. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may:
- Access or export your data from within the Service
- Correct inaccurate personal data
- Delete your account and associated data
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@adlr.app.
7. Deleting your account
You can delete your ADLR account yourself, without contacting us: open Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Accountin the web app or the Android app and type DELETE to confirm. Deletion runs immediately and cannot be undone. It is only possible from a signed-in browser session, never through API tokens.
Removed right away: your profile, sign-in methods, connected mailboxes and integrations, personal settings, direct messages you sent, and your workspace memberships. Any workspace that you alone own is deleted together with your account — all of its content (messages, tasks, documents, invoices, files) is removed and its subscription is cancelled. If a workspace should outlive your account, make another member its owner first.
In workspaces owned by someone else, the content you created for that business (tasks, documents, channel messages, invoices) stays with the workspace, no longer linked to your account. Billing records held by our payment processor are retained for as long as the law requires. Questions about deletion: privacy@adlr.app.
8. Security
We use TLS in transit, encryption at rest for sensitive data, scoped access tokens, audit logs, and least-privilege engineering access. No system is perfectly secure — if we become aware of a breach that affects you, we will notify you without undue delay.
9. International transfers
ADLR operates from the United States. By using the Service you understand your data may be processed in the U.S. and other countries where our providers operate.
10. Children
The Service is not intended for children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
11. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice. The "Last updated" date above indicates the most recent revision.
